It’s a big shelf of AI tools on one site, 400 plus of them running on 520 plus models, covering chat, writing, code, images, voice, music, transcription and a website builder. The video generator is one tool among many, and I expected it to be an afterthought.

It wasn’t.

If what you want is an ai video generator free no sign up, Rewind came closest in my test, with one honest caveat: most of the site works with no account and no email at all, but the video tool does ask for a free account. The 3-second ones are free once you have the account, which is exactly the length I want for hooks. Longer clips spend tokens. No fighting with a canvas.

The part I didn’t expect to care about: the self-hosted models. Wan 2.2 and CogVideoX run on Rewind’s own A100 servers, so the prompt isn’t sent off to a third party. For one client under NDA that actually mattered. Most of my clips finished in under two minutes.

You can also animate an uploaded photo.
