This product works with:
3D text animations inside TypeToon plugin are perfect for creating moving text and animated words in colorful retro-style texts in a wide range of applications, from the form of 70s and 80s vintage fonts to the modern style of new-age text animation.
Important Notice: Before installing the TypeToon, install fonts.
How To Install TypeToon Fonts
Installing a font in Windows
1. Download the fonts from here.
2. It will save to your computer in the ZIP format.
Unzip it by right-clicking on it and select Extract here.
3. Double-click the extracted folder to open it.
4. Select all fonts and right-click on one of them (Only select the font files, not the .txt files.)
5. When you right-click the font file, the drop-down menu will appear.
Select install to install the fonts on your PC.
*Alternatively, you can install the fonts by copying the files and pasting them into the Windows font folder, usually located at “C:\Windows\Fonts” in File Explorer.
6. You need to close AE and restart it so it can recognize the fonts.
Installing a font in Mac
1. Download the fonts from here.
2. Click the magnifying glass (Spotlight) icon in the upper-right corner.
3. Search Font Book.
4. Double-click the Font Book app.
5. Click Font Book in the menu bar at the top.
6. Click Preferences….
7. Use the drop-down menu next to “Default Install Location” to select “User” or “Computer.”
8. You need to close AE and restart it so it can recognize the fonts.
Change Fonts
TypeToon not only has its own modern or retro style 70s and 80s fonts, you can also work with your personal fonts.
After downloading and installing fonts, select the text layer and change the font from the Character panel.
