Introduction
PAPER BURN TRANSITIONS package is used for transition between 2 footages.
The Paper Burn Transitions pack is compatible with all software capable of multiple video layers and the ability to change Blending Modes. This includes Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut Pro X, Davinci Resolve, Sony Vegas, etc.
Here we’ll show you how to install and use it in After Effect and Premiere Pro.
How to Install and Use Paper Burn Transitions in Premiere Pro
1- Unzip the downloaded zipped file.
2- Open Adobe Premiere Pro and import the transitions folder to your project.
3- After importing the footage, place one footage on top of another. Then, drag and drop the chosen paper burn transition and put it on top of the footage.
4- Use Track Matte Key effects from the Effects panel and apply them to the top footage.
5- Change the Matte option of the Track Matte key to the transition layer.
6- To add a flame fire to your transition, duplicate a transition on top of the layers and change the Blending mode to Screen.
*You can use the Motion Factory File Manager extension for a better and more convenient result.
After installing Motion Factory, open it from PR and press the import button to import the package.
How to Install and Use Paper Burn Transitions in After Effects
1- Unzip the downloaded zipped file.
2- Open Adobe After Effects and import the transitions folder to your project panel.
3- After importing the footage, place one footage on top of another. Then, drag and drop the chosen paper burn transition and put
it on top of the footage.
4- Cut the top footage (ctrl + shift + D), so you can start to work with the Matte for the transition.
5- Change the Track Matte of the top footage to Alpha Matte “Paper Burn Transition.”
6- To add a flame fire to your transition, duplicate a transition on top of the layers and change the Blending mode to Screen. (Remember to Mute the duplicated transition)

After installing Motion Factory, open it from AE and press the import button to import the package.
