Massive Dynamic

Updated December 16,2024

In this article, we’ll explain the difference between the general setting and the unique setting.
By using the Site Setting of Massive Dynamic you can access the environment for changing the website layout and options. (e.g header setting and footer setting and so on)
Any change you make in Site Settings will affect all pages of your website.
But if you want to have a page with different settings, you can use the unique setting option.

General Setting

General settings option is used for creating the main layout which is used for several pages.
For example, I have a website with 4 pages, home page, portfolio page, contact page, and about page. I create a home page with general settings and I want a portfolio page and about page to look the same, so I simply create two new pages and add my content using Massive Builder.

Access the General Setting

1. Open the page in the site setting mode.
2. From the top of the page find the page setting option.
3. Set General Setting from it.

Then you can set the changes which you want from the site setting panel and the changes will affect the other pages which have the General Setting.

Unique Setting

If you want to create a page with different layout and settings, then you should switch to unique settings.
For example, you want the contact page of the website to have a different layout, so set the unique setting for it and set the changes which you want from the site setting panel.
The changes will not affect other pages.

Access the Unique Setting

1. Open the page in the site setting mode.
2. From the top of the page find the page setting option.
3. Set Unique Setting from it.

Set different layout and setting for the post pages or the portfolio pages

If you want all the post pages or all the portfolio pages to have the same layout but that layout be different from the main layout of the website you can use the unique setting.
1. Open one of the post pages or the portfolio pages in site setting mode
2. Set the unique setting for it
3.Set the changes which you want from the site setting panel
4. Then make sure all the post pages or the portfolio pages have a unique setting.
